Kimberly is one of the Captains of the Motor Vessel Alaskan Leader. Kimberly holds a 200 ton US Marine Merchants Captains License. She has a lifetime of experience on the water ranging from the Columbia River north to Alaska.

Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from George Fox University in 1990. She was an All-American in Volleyball her senior year of college and went on to play semi-professionally for years to follow. She is an accomplished fisherman and is licensed as a Sport Fishing Guide by the State of Alaska.

Kimberly is a talented Chef which heads up the meal service for all the trips. She also heads the marketing and administrative departments for Alaska Leader Tours, LLC.  Her past business experience as owner/operator of a Seattle based promotional company has been advantageous in the promoting and marketing of the Motor Vessel Alaskan Leader.

Kimberly is also a talented videographer.  She has years of experience filming animals in the wilderness in their natural habitat.

Captain D is one of the Head Captains of Alaska Leader Tours, LLC Darren has over 25 years experience running vessels in Alaska waters. This experience includes years of commercial fishing aboard 130 foot Bering Sea Crab Boats operating in the dangerous and treacherous winter waters of the Bering Sea.

Captain D is General Manager of the company and Head of Vessel Maintenance and Engineering.  As a lifelong resident of Alaska D has extensive knowledge of brown bear behavior in their natural habitat.
